Every child in my artwork is somewhat awkward and clumsy. In fact, children and their different facial expressions in my artwork might be the objects into which I reflect my psychological experience of childhood. I want to expand this kind of process to others through my artwork which even has a meaning of remedy, so that they meet again their forgotten memories of childhood. To me, it is my motive. Human beings are self-centered, so they are easily disposed to dislike things that conflict with their existing standards. And they believe what they do is toward progress. But to me, this seems nothing but an absurd game that runs in a circle. Adults never know anything by themselves. That’s why they exhaust children by trying to repeat explanation. Living in a strange society in which subjectivity of life is taken away by practical time and surroundings, I don’t know how to survive. Now, what I count as important is recovering our susceptibility. We should learn how to see, hear and feel better; so that making your experience and my own melt in each other should become a top priority. Instead of trying to extract hermeneutical meaning from artwork or squeezing out more than what artwork itself contains, we see the essence by intuition that might lead us to meet disregarded memories. 이베르 작가는 전시뿐 아니라 아트 디렉팅 과 일러스트 기고하는 등 다방면으로 활발히 활동하고 있다. 개인전 은 2009년 <Engrams, 스페이스 캔>,2008년 <Me and You and Everyone, 관훈갤러리 프로젝트>가 있고, 단체전으로는 2008년<OST LOCKT, Galerie Romerapotheke, 취리히, 스위스>,<지각과 충동, 관훈갤러리>,그리고 <Venture-6 young artists, 봉 아트 갤러리>를 가졌으며, 2007년 매거진 W에서 일러스트레이션 어워드를 수상하였고, 단편영화 Ann’sClockwork, 2006년 단편영화 Dancing Rabbit에서 아트 디렉팅을 하였다. 또한 캔 파운데이션에서 진행하는 Project Space Beijing Residency 작가로 선정 되어 2009년 6월부터 8월까지 3개월간 북경을 다녀왔다.
